Self-Portraits

Self-Portraits

Portraiture photography provides an intimate look into the individual, by allowing us to capture the subjects and their emotions.

Grâce à la pandémie, I have started a personal project of self-portriature. It has required grace and self-acceptance and has been immensely rewarding. It is something I recommend for all.

A woman whose face and hand are lit, but the rest of the image is dark. The hand rests gently across the chin.

Woman in red two-piece swimsuit is illuminated on her face and shoulders by soft light that darkens as it falls down the rest of her body. The background is darkly lit.

A woman whose face and hand are lit, but the rest of the image is dark. The hand covers her mouth and chin with a look of surprise on her face.

A women sits on a red chair with a white background. Her eyes are hidden by shadows while the left side of the face from the cheekbone down and the left side of the body is illuminated. She is wearing a black lace shirt and black skirt.

A women sits naked in this image looking at the camera. Her elbows are both resting on her knee, with her left arm in the front of the right arm. The left hand is touching the right side of the face. The breasts cannot be seen due to the arms being crossed over her body.

A women is lying on a medium grey background on the floor looking at the camera with her head turned to the right. Her left hand rest softly on the left side of her head in her hair.
