About

A woman whose face and hand are lit, but the rest of the image is dark. The hand covers her mouth and chin with a look of surprise on her face.

Hello fellow photography lovers and thank you for visiting my website.

I am a Chicago-based, freelance photographer.

Photography is my way to connect with and understand the world, and myself, in more depth. My inspiration comes from commonplace things—people, animals, light, laughter. I aim to capture the experiences and memories of the everyday, the way the sun hits a building or the smell of jasmine in the spring, and bring those to life.

Despite a hiatus with photography, I am a long-time lover of photography and I am committed to giving it the energy that it, or more likely I, deserve.

I am a 2021 graduate of the Photography Certificate Program through the University of Washington at Seattle. In addition, I obtained my doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Aside from photography, I am an avid traveler, baker, and obvious animal lover.

I would love to hear from you! If you’re interested in a photography session with me, in a piece of my work, or just if you would like to say hello, I can be reached here

I would really appreciate it if you would follow me on Instagram!
